The VP of Integrated Care Management will lead the system strategy for population health, social determinants of health and chronic disease management across the hospital, physician and ambulatory enterprises.  The VP of Integrated Care Management will influence public policy, partner with pay strategies, while aligning care management functions to deliver a value-based patient experience.

Position Summary:

The Vice President provides leadership for the assessment, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of programs, projects, or operations, for the areas of responsibility. Ensures optimal results in operational, clinical and service excellence, as well as management and development of assigned staff.

Essential Functions:

The Vice President responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Builds, develops and maintains operations to support strategic direction for areas of responsibility

* Establishes operations initiatives for improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery of services, and employee relations

* Establishes operations standards and policies for service delivery, customer service and fiscal responsibility

* Oversees operations budget of areas of responsibility to ensure compliance with organizational fiscal requirements and goals

* Participates in INTEGRIS Health strategic plan for institutional goals and objectives and validates projections

* Scans internal and external environment for actual and potential threats or opportunities on which the President or Chief Executive Officer can base proactive responses

* Assumes responsibility for active hospital wide and/or metro problem identification and resolution through task forces and total quality improvement teams

* Ensures staff are managed and developed effectively, including hiring, evaluating performance and competency, and conducting disciplinary/counseling sessions as needed

Accountability:

The Vice President reports to assigned hospital President, CFO, Managing Director, or the Corporate CEO.

Requirements

Qualifications:


* Registered Nurse preference


* Bachelors degree in business, health care administration, area of clinical expertise, or other related field 


* Masters degree preferred

* 10 years experience in area of responsibility or hospital system preferred.

* Knowledgeable of current national healthcare policies and trends in political environment

* Knowledge of leadership, management, and performance improvement concepts

* Skill in effective verbal and written communication to a variety of audiences through a range of modalities.

* Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)

Transplant Only:

* Masters degree in business, health care administration, area of clinical expertise or other related field required.

* 5 years experience required in area of responsibility, or hospital/health system

* Knowledgeable of current national healthcare policies and trends in political environment

* Knowledge of leadership, management, and performance improvement concepts

* Skill in effective verbal and written communication to a variety of audiences through a range of modalities.

* Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
