We are currently looking for a Sales Manager Wallonia, Luxembourg, East- France.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize and oversee accounts where designated.
  • Research and organize quantitative data and information from assignments to determine effective sales strategy.
  • Maintain and further develop business partnerships with major customers, and when applicable with the assistance of customer service to assist with strategic problem solving.
  • Develop knowledge from client perspective and communicate importance to customers of Integrated DNA Technologies products.
  • Schedule sales calls and travel itinerary with follow up on all sales trips including interpreting of customer's needs and fulfilling those needs as possible.
  • Communicate with internal sales/customer support service on all customer related business.
  • Build sales rapport and business acumen with all customers.
  • Prospect new accounts and prepare information for all sales calls to secure new customers.
  • Educate and provide customers with current product sales information.
  • Maintain records and communications with customer base through IDT's CRM program
  • Research and evaluate competitors' products.
  • Develop innovative and creative sales strategies.
  • Actively participate on product introduction team for new product launches.
  • Participate in training and ongoing staff meetings at Integrated DNA Technologies facility in Coralville, IA or other locations as determined, as directed by supervisor.
  • Participate in exhibitions where assigned and provide quantitative and qualitative feedback on assigned exhibitions.
  • Maintain regular and informative communications with the VP of Sales.
  • Such other relevant duties as may be assigned. 
  • Job Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or strong technical background in Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the Life Science market.
  • Fluency in French and English required
  • This position requires a highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to interact in a professional manner with customers, employees and all levels of management.
  • Travel is required.
