This position is responsible for conducting limited scope testing, assisting with data collection, and performing a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with engineering methods, programs and practices under the supervision of an engineer or manager.

Essential Duties:

·         Learns what is expected of an Engineer in this industry

·         Reports progress and status

·         Completes assigned tasks on time and budget while meeting technical requirements

·         Complies with the Engineering Playbook and best practice procedures

·         Assists engineers with appropriate design details

·         Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization

·         Adheres to all quality and safety standards

·         Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned

·         Available for limited travel

Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

·         HS Diploma; Must be enrolled in an accredited Engineering program

·         Receives and follows direction

·         Interacts professionally with teammates and colleagues

·         Possesses basic oral and written communication skills

·         Possesses quality orientation and high attention to detail

·         Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company

·         Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
