Role Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer will support the shop floor's execution on safety, quality, and delivery through the continuous improvement and ownership of the manufacturing processes and parts in Norwich.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Define and controls production process including tooling and equipment
  • Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment
    • Includes Manufacturing Engineers

  • Execute routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision
  • Work together with people from the business unit
  • Contact are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information
  • Work within a team setting and / or under guidance
    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing
    Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong project management skills and use of excel spreadsheets
