OVERVIEW: Gates is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Finance Analyst to join our Denver Operations Finance Denver. This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager Finance Operations in Gates. Duties are outlined below.

  • Manage the Global Outbound Freight budget of Gates and North American DC expense budgets. Ensure that we are on track to meet budgeted reductions and drive savings
  • Work with S&OP team to drive reductions in Global Inventory and work on target setting
  • Manage Excess & Obsolete inventory. Work with sites to reduce expense and identify root causes for major reserve adjustments. Ensure that we move excess inventory between locations
  • Manage monthly forecast for Freight, DC's and inventory in North America and co-ordinate with all OUS regions
  • Manage Strategic Logistics projects for Operations Finance – ensure that savings are correctly stated and that we realize committed savings
  • Introduce consistency of reporting and manage the bridge process for all Freight, DC expenses and Inventory
  • SOX control testing and reviews for Inventory in USA D.C. locations


Job Requirements

Education:
  • Undergraduate or Master's degree
  • Business/Accounting major
  • CPA or equivalent is preferable
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous Logistics and or Operations experience is preferred
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex data
  • Positive attitude and strong desire to learn
