The Role Role Overview
You will report to the Director of Intelligence at G4S and take day-to-day guidance from client management at the site. This role is part of a top-tier security team responsible for enterprise security and risk management. The team overall has about 36 members in diverse activities. You'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive all-source collection, analysis and dissemination of intelligence products concerning the global threat environment. This will include gathering and analyzing information from a variety of sources to determine significance, and promptly informing senior management to create decision advantage, while strictly adhering to established analytic standards of being objective, accurate, timely, relevant and actionable. Additionally, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of global intelligence processes and programs in designated regions around the world.

Role Details
More specifically, you will:

  • Conduct all-source collection and research, analyze, evaluate, and integrate data from multiple sources, identify intelligence gaps, and specify collection requirements to produce assessments and recommendations
  • Prepare analyses, assessments, verbal briefs or other products by applying expert judgment and specialized experience in interpreting information and making decisions
  • Extract essential information and analysis from a variety of sources and synthesize the information into actionable reports
  • Prepare and/or review all submitted analytical and investigative reports to ensure accuracy, research, investigative sufficiency, and professional quality; edit and correct, as necessary, and disseminate to decision makers
  • Prepare graphs, charts (link analysis, event flow analysis, activity charting), tables and other illustrative devices for visual presentation of data
  • Conduct background research on groups, individuals, events, and/or incidents that may have a negative impact on the business
  • Provide mentoring and leadership for junior-level team members
  • Oversee and design intelligence reporting procedures for specific regions at the client's global sites

In addition, you should help them understand analytical results. All of this will require the ability to discuss technical concepts in down-to-earth language.

The Requirements To be a good fit for the Intelligence Analyst opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree in criminal justice, intelligence studies, or another related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data analytics related to corporate, military or law enforcement investigations
  • Experience with all-source intelligence methodologies
  • An understanding of current global threat dynamics and trends, including -- but not limited to -- violent extremism, terrorism, geopolitical risk, cyber threats, and criminal activity particularly regarding the manufacturing industry
  • A demonstrated ability to develop metrics, perform critical analysis, identify threats and develop leadership decision-support content
  • Excellent professional thinking, writing and briefing skills, and demonstrated proficiency in clearly communicating highly technical security concepts to non-security audiences in business terms
  • Experience learning and quickly becoming proficient maintaining databases and utilizing software applications, such as Analyst's Notebook or other intelligence analysis and data collection tools, Archer or other case management tools, social media analysis tools and geographic information systems, as well as the Microsoft Office suite Quick question for you - click here
  • Knowledge of proper handling of sensitive, confidential and/or proprietary client information
  • Foreign language proficiency is preferred but not required
