Frontier Communications is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to implement content updates on, along with other online properties. This is a critical position within the growing Digital Team, and the ideal candidate will have hands-on involvement in maintaining Frontier's content management system(s) and managing special projects across Frontier's digital footprint.


This is a full-time position at Rochester, NY or Norwalk, CT and reports to the Manager of Digital Content.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement text and visual content updates, utilizing HMTL, in content management systems
  • Work and communicate with internal clients and external agencies to obtain all requirements, assets and approvals
  • Assess and revise supplied content for optimal online customer experience
  • Proofread supplied content for layout, grammar, and spelling
  • Test updates across multiple browser and device types
  • Advise from a design/creative perspective for content implementation
  • Perform administrative duties in managing tasks and projects, including trafficking work across internal teams
  • Work with IT partners to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues regarding the content management systems
  • Help analyze content, performance, user behavior and traffic patterns provided by web analytics tool


Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years relevant digital content experience; telecommunications or technology experience a plus
  • Proficient in HTML and HTML editors
  • Extensive, hands-on CMS experience; Sitecore experience a plus
  • Critical attention to detail with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Solid understanding of online user behavior and digital best practices
  • Understanding of SEO best practices
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with image editing tools such as Photoshop a plus
  • Fluent in current accessibility and usability standards
  • Fluency in Spanish
