The Vice President of Product Management, Connected Health, owns the vision and success of one of NxStage Home Therapies' (a part of Fresenius Medical Care) most strategically important business categories. Helping dialysis patients reclaim their lives by doing their treatments at home is the mission that drives all of us; Connected Health has been a major part of accomplishing that goal over the last five years and will be an increasingly critical element of continued home therapies growth going forward.
In this position you will manage a team of Product Managers as you build roadmaps for your product portfolio, and work with cross-functional teams including Development, Quality and Regulatory organizations to bring those roadmaps to fruition, then work with the downstream organizations to pilot and launch the products. Connected Health products will span all home therapies (Home Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis) and blend with digital offerings being developed globally.

Lead new product definition, develop business plans, and secure resources to develop and launch a regular cadence of Connected Health product offerings
Develop and communicate the vision for Connected Health, securing stakeholder buy-in and support
Lead the development of product strategies and oversee the creation of product roadmaps
Manage lifecycles for connected health products, functioning as central resource with design, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing and distribution
Direct those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products
Assess market penetration and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share
Oversee market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs; own Voice of the Customer and Patients as it pertains to Connected Health user needs
Establish pricing strategies
Oversee commercialization efforts with cross functional launch teams, including providing guidance for the downstream marketing team to develop tools for successful product introductions
Communicate customer feedback to Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales to enhance existing products or product lines
Hire, coach and evaluate team members to ensure the efficient operation of the Connected Health Product Management team
Education & Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or in business field with strong technical skills
MBA Strongly Preferred
10+ years product management experience, preferably in the medical device industry; direct experience with connected health solutions strongly preferred
Fluency with outcome-driven innovation and gated approach to lifecycle management
Leadership skills to build successful cross-functional teams; Strong management skills, with experience building and developing a team
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and remotely
Business acumen and analytical skills required to make sound holistic decisions. Comfortable with financial concepts, such as NPV, payback, P&L statements, and balance sheets
Able to take initiative; excellent time-management, prioritization, problem prevention, and problem solving skills
