PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Directs and administers the daily clinical quality operations and activities of dialysis facilities and programs in RRI ensuring compliance with established company and regulatory guidelines and procedures. Responsible for implementation of RRI and RTG research projects. Participates in the implementation of divisional and company clinical initiatives and strategies. In partnership with the Business Leadership team responsible for the development of new business clinical opportunities to meet the business goals for treatment growth. Acts as a clinical expert when evaluating operational issues occurring in the RRI facilities.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
Direct responsibility for education, training and oversight of research studies involving RRI facilities in collaboration with RRI research staff.
Direct communication with the RRI research staff in developing protocols that will involve RRI facility staff.
Participates in all research meetings that involve facility research initiatives.
Acts as a liaison between the company and the Medical Directors, Medical Advisory Board members and referring physicians ensuring appropriate communication of company initiatives.
Collaborates with the Regional Directors of Operations to ensure new clinical initiatives are implemented in the RRI dialysis facilities.
Coordinates with Regional Director of Operations to ensure the provision of outstanding quality patient care and dialysis services while adhering to regulatory and company guidelines and requirements ensuring efficiency and economy.
Responsible for direct oversight of all RTG product research. Coordinates market preference studies with RTG marketing.
Collaborate with RTG sales, marketing and senior management in various programs and projects
Participate, as requested, with RTG business development in the development of new business opportunities
Develops and maintain collaborative relationships with RTG Sales and Marketing departments to facilitate technology integration in RTG sponsored initiatives.
Provides leadership for supporting evaluations and operational integration of innovative technologies.
Collaborates with the Regional Quality Manager to evaluate all adverse events occurring in RRI facilities. Makes recommendations to reduce risks going forward.
Collaborates with Regional Quality Manager and Regional Director of Operations to address all reported Compliance Action Line Complaints. Makes recommendations to reduce occurrence going forward.
Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all relevant Company and Business Unit policies and procedures, and local, state, and Federal laws and regulations.
Ensure that employees understand and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all- relevant Company and Business Unit policies and procedures, and local, state, and Federal laws and regulations, and establish effective internal systems and controls to promote such compliance.
Practices risk management strategies and collaborates with internal and external legal counsel as appropriate to resolve legal issues with goal of reducing company exposure.
Collaborates with the appropriate Corporate and local groups to ensure the growth of all modalities (Incenter, Inpatient, Home, Home Assist, CKD etc.)
Participates in facility maintenance of environmental integrity including safety of all facilities and water systems within designated area.
Participates in Privacy and Security compliance according to the FMCNA Risk Management and Compliance requirements.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Daily work includes desk and personal computer work and interaction with patients, facility staff and physicians. The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials.
- Regularly travels between locations primarily during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
- Typically supervises exempt staff.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's Degree- prepared Registered Nurse with NY State License; Advanced Degree desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- 5 - 7 years of clinical dialysis experience.
- Demonstrated leadership and management competencies and skills including excellent clinical competence, operational excellence, exceptional communication, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated practice of continuous quality improvement and relationship development.
- Results oriented.
- Excellent skills for team building, motivating employees, performance management and decision-making.
