To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Commodity Analyst Mechanical located in Shanghai Waigaoqiao.

Reporting to the Commodity Manager Mechanical, the Commodity Analyst Mechanical role involves…

What a typical day looks like:

• Selection and development of mechanical supply base to support supply chain and business goals
• Negotiation of Business contracts, establishment of pricing agreements & long-term relationship with suppliers
• Drive RFQ, (competitive and timely quotes)
• Develop / deploy sourcing strategies and ensure a smooth and timely manufacturing ramp on new programs.
• Understands commodity market conditions, technology roadmaps, and supply demand equations, translate into short and long-term commodity strategies
• Suppler management and maintain good relationship with suppliers
• Drive KOIs to meet company target

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree with a mechanical technical background.

• Experience in commodity management or procurement in multiple manufacturing site environment.

• Very strong skills in MS office software applications, particularly Excel and Access.
• At least 5 years' experience with and understanding of mechanical components and metal fabrication processes
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret supply/demand data and recognize market trends impacting the commodity.
• Good communication skills, ability to work with all levels of management.
• Excels in high-velocity, volatile environment
• Advanced communication skills, ability to present ideas and concepts clearly, both verbally and in presentation/report form.
• Ability to work with customers (internal and external) and suppliers to drive initiatives.
• Fluent English speaking and writing ability.
• High job responsibility. Good teamwork player
