We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative to grow our outside charter revenue, focused on large customers and large activities and events. 

Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • To grow outside charter revenue with large event customers  and existing large customers.
  • Answer inbound customer requests (>$5K) with responses to pricing, activity and availability by contacting location manager, charter dispatchers or location supervisor with request, respond quickly to customer
  • Manage customer relationships, remaining close to key decision-makers and influencers regarding reoccurring activities/events
  • Identify new sales growth opportunities with existing customers by navigating through business channels, asking qualifying questions and building relationships with decision makers
  • Gather customer intelligence identifying transportation needs with customer operating in other markets/areas throughout North America – pass information to other zones
  • Through Account Manager – work with Regional Charter Sales Manager (RCSM) to process sales opportunities by identifying capacity availability at locations, pricing and operational concerns – lead the discussion with location managers/area general managers
  • Deliver exceptional customer service both in the sales process and follow-up.  Address short- falls and inconsistency with operations and elevate issues with management.
  • Grow large account/events charter sales by assigned annual/quarterly and monthly goals as set by Senior Director Charter Business

Inside Sales Representative Experience and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 3-5 years Account Management/Customer Relationship work experience
  • 3-5 years proven Sales/Customer Relationship experience
  • 3-5 years Inside Sales experience
  • Superior knowledge of sophisticated sales techniques and methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage a protracted and complicated sales process
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills with ability to sell to “C-level” executives
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to win sale without being lowest priced solution
  • Track record of success
  • Experience in the transportation industry (transit, cargo, express, package, waste disposal, armored car, etc) preferred
  • Salesforce.com experience
