Description

This is a Senior Financial Analyst role within Fidelity Institutional Finance supporting the control environment for Fidelity's Clearing and Custody Services (FCCS) Billing. The primary objective of this role is ensuring the ongoing integrity of FCCS's billing processes across all business segments- Broker/Dealer, Registered Investment Advisor and Institutional Custody business's.

The Team

This position is part of the FCCS Billing Controls team responsible for sustaining and improving the FCCS Billing Control environment.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelor's degree required (Finance/Accounting Preferred)
  • 5-7 years of financial services, controllership and/or audit experience
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong investigative and analytical skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to identify, improve and implement effective process changes
  • Must be proficient with MS excel tables, formatting and calculations required
  • Understanding of brokerage industry is a plus

The Value You Deliver
  • Performing daily/weekly/monthly operational controls to support the integrity of client billing
  • Managing and monitoring improvement actions to measure the success of changes and enhancements
  • Validating adherence to existing controls
  • Identifying and investigating root cause issues and working to implement preventative measures
  • Understanding how various transactions impact others, both upstream and downstream
  • Conducting detailed reviews to ensure an accurate flow of revenues and expenses through to the customer
  • Supporting internal and external audit inquiries for FCCS Billing
  • Partnering with business and technology partners to resolve complex issues
  • Partnering with the FCCS Billing team to drive quality improvement in identified risk areas
