Job Summary: Duties include a clerical function which requires the ability to work under minimal supervision, carrying out general office duties in a fast-paced environment. Provides administrative support as directed by the department's leadership team. Requires effective communication skills, functioning as the department's receptionist who greets internal and external customers. Must possess the knowledge and skill to navigate complex electronic health record (EHR) and other computer systems. Demonstrates a workable knowledge of medical terminology. Maintains adequate unit supplies within the guidance of cost containment as outlined in organizational policies. Performs other clerical/non-professional services in caring for the needs of the patients, visitors, providers, and staff in the department.

Job Requirements:

GED or High School Diploma preferred.

Previous customer service experience preferred.

Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language required.

Clerical or medical terminology knowledge and experience preferred.
