As the Line Manager of one of the Software development sections within Radio Products Canada (RPCA), you will be leading the operation of your team as well as being part of the management structure of Radio Products Canada. The RPCA Software team is responsible for delivering on Macro and Indoor products. You will collaborate with the Head of RPCA Software design and be part of the RPCA Software Leadership team.

 

Our Exciting Opportunity:
  • Develop the RPCA Software team in Ottawa through setting of clear accountabilities and roles within the team, providing timely coaching and feedback to team members and host co-op/students
  • Engage and contribute to the end-to-end SW development in order to maximize the timely interoperability between Radio types (e.g. Mid and High Band AAS, Macro, Indoor) & Digital Unit types (e.g. DU and vDU)

 

In this role you will:
  • Enable the team to develop, integrate, test Radio product software for Macro and Indoor
  • Execute strong interworking between RPCA Software teams in Ottawa, as well with Systems, Common Radio Module, and Hardware teams on other sites as well as other related organizations in DNEW such as Baseband, Cloud RAN, NSV, Product Integration, and Release, Product Line Maintenance
  • Lead within management roles in RPCA Software leadership team

To be successful in the role, you must have:
  • Experience working in a leadership team
  • Result oriented with a strong product development background
  • Solid experience of managing a multitude of interfaces
  • Strong leadership skills in line with Ericsson core values and leadership framework
  • Interest and a good understanding of the concepts of Lean and Agile ways of working
  • Excellent communication skills and in handling relations​​​​​​​
