The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring high quality and cost-effective health service to patients; and coordinates medical standards with patient-centered performance criteria.
Current CA RN license; High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required. Current BLS (American Heart Association). ACLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire. PALS certification must be obtained with 6 months of hire. RN I - new grad up to two years of nursing experience in a hospital, managed care, skilled nursing or other health care setting. At least two years of nursing experience in facility-based nursing preferred. RN II – Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Specialty certifications preferred. Three or more years as an RN with a broad spectrum of clinical experience. ER/critical care preferred. Computer literacy and typing skills required. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; to handle stressful situations.
