Entegral is a Software as a Service organization. We provide an integrated management suite to insurance carriers, adjusters, collision repair centers and all partners involved in the claims and repair channels.

We are looking for a smart, passionate and results-oriented software engineer to help us lead and develop innovative software initiatives across our software suite. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who is interested in exploring software technologies throughout the stack and excited to take the challenges to have a major impact on our product suite.

Position will be based in St. Louis, MO at our Entegral location


Responsibilities:

To be successful in this role, you must have a keen understanding of the underlying technologies and be excited to figure out how things work end to end. You must be able to evangelize your thoughts to help drive innovative solutions to improve and streamline processes. What youll be up:

  • Lead designs of software components and features
  • Develop full slices of the application from the UI to the data store
  • Developing the team using your experiences, at the same time developing yourself by learning from the team experiences
  • Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability and stability of applications while delivering impactful business value
  • Collaborate with other teams to make architectural improvements
  • May require occasional on-call duties
  • Be part of the full application lifecycle (design, develop, test, deploy and maintain), innovating in each step
  • Designing APIs and working with other teams to build integrations

Qualifications:

What are the basics (Required):

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • 5+ years of progressive development experience utilizing an object-oriented programming language on Enterprise level applications or related experience is required
  • Proficiency in Java and Javascript
  • 3 years Experience in database (SQL or NoSQL) modeling and performance tuning
  • 4 years Experience in defining and developing REST based services
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (Jenkins or other)
  • 3 years Experience with Test automation (REST-assured, Selenium, Jest, Cucumber, etc)
  • Experience architecting and developing large complex applications
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% domestically

What are the extras (Preferred):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related field
  • Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
  • Experience developing software in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with Containers and Cloud Native technologies for example: Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, gRPC, Prometheus, HELM, Envoy
  • Experience with popular web application frameworks/libraries, such as Angular or React
  • Proficiency with Node.js, TypeScript and Javascript UI frameworks
  • Experience in micro-service environments
  • Exposure to machine learning
