
Description
The Project Manager:
- Provides techno-commercial leadership to projects
- Has good knowledge of the DeltaV system and project execution process.
- Manages multiple medium to large size projects
- Develops, Trains and coaches lead engineers on techno-commercial aspects
- Knowledge sharing within the project team and within EEEC
- Positive outlook, open to suggest ideas and methods to improve productivity by using innovative ways.
- Candidate should have worked on Chemical / Pharma / Oil & Gas industry in DCS System Migration projects / Brownfield DCS projects.
- Knowledge of any competitor DCS systems / PLC preferable.
Coordination with overseas offices –
- to understand and document scope, schedule and budget of work to be done
- progress monitoring and reporting to the offices, customers, engineering contractors and/or consultants
- TQ clarifications
- Weekly meetings
Project Execution –
- Responsible for Project planning, scheduling, cost control, progress reports, quality, and reviews
- Communicating scope, schedule and budget of work to project team members
- Allocation and prioritization of work to project team members
- Monitoring of work allocated to project team members
- Project performance monitoring and reporting
- Responsible to achieve business budgeted hours allocated corresponding to EMERSON Offices
- Conducting customer satisfaction survey on all projects & effecting an action plan
- Interface with concerned EMERSON Offices worldwide
Quality Control & Assurance
- Ensuring compliance to project quality standards by project team
- Implementation of Quality processes/documentation and ensures they are followed and maintained throughout the project.
- Participates in project quality engineering audit with internal and external authorities.
Other Duties –
- Knowledge sharing within the project team and within EEEC
- Team Building, open for sharing new and innovative ideas, for better performance.
- Selection & development of vendors for in-house projects
- Supporting EMERSON offices for making proposals
- Identifying training needs, setting up the training plan & developing skill set & general abilities with a view to enable the resources to perform at global standards consistently.
- Support standards & libraries for global standards (i.e., Project Builder Library)
- Analyzing and validating time sheets of project resources
