The purpose of this position is to make solid independent decisions regarding management of customer orders that make good, ethical business sense for Emerson Automation Solutions and meet customer satisfaction goals. To ensure that orders are accurately and diligently entered and audited into the system, without compromising the turnaround time. To ensure that relevant documents are complete before transferring to the Order Administration – Execution team.
 
Responsibilities

  • Order Management
  • Order Screening - Checks for Completeness of Commercial Requirements, Coordinates with the supplier/factory/other support group to obtain/identify specific lead time of a product not readily available on the system. Assesses customer commercial request/requirement and apply it on the proposal if possible
  • Order Entry - Enters Data/Order/Items into Business System. Generates Purchase Requisitions/Orders
  • Returns Administration - Verifies completeness of credit/RMA requirements prior to
    entry and booking of credits/billings/RMAs in business systems.
  • Escalations Handling - Responds to Level 1 general inquiries and requests received from mailbox and identify need for escalations
 
 
Requirements

.Education: Graduate of any 4-year course

Job Related Experience: At least 5 years related experience in order management, data entry or data administration support/functions

Specific Knowledge:
Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Application – MS Outlook and Excel

General understanding of the quote-to-cash process
