We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who knows how to manage overlapping projects, keep track of deadlines, and efficiently use their time. The ideal candidate is a strong analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and mathematical abilities, and able to be an effective communicator who is persuasive and good at presenting information.


  • Planner will be responsible for all planning functions and activities to support the product line from scheduling to shipment including shop floor movement.

  • Evaluate and execute all material requirement plans by using an ERP system to meet corporate initiatives.

  • Provide, coordinate, and execute monthly shipment targets while ensuring customer on-time delivery and quality.

  • Develop and improve planning techniques and / or processes to minimize inventory levels, improve cash flow and maximize efficiencies.

  • Work with the Value Stream to provide order status, order details, and any recovery plans to support customer needs.

  • Review, evaluate, and implement the most efficient means of production supporting cost and inventory initiatives.

  • Make intelligent and timely decisions to ensure effective use of Company resources such as people, money, and equipment.

  • Must be able to fully coordinate the product line from scheduling of sales orders to shipment of product and movement on the shop floor.

  • Participation in Customer facing meetings/conference calls for status and updates


  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering is preferred or 5 years related work experience ideally with engineered products.

  • Knowledge of mil specs and government contracts a plus

  • US Citizenship required due to contracts with the US Navy

  • Proficiency with MS Office and ERP or MRP Systems (preferably Oracle)

  • Experience in a Program environment preferably Customer facing experience

  • Background in Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis

  • Self-starter and can Work autonomously
