Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Technology, Manager in Hartford, CT.



Work You'll Do

Design, develop, and deploy technology, tools, and standard processes to support the delivery of Tax services. Enhance Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient Tax services to our clients. Oversee the product backlog for a product, prioritizing requirements. Define and oversee scope and sprints for a project. Provide operational support to practitioners and firm clients. Configure VSTS features in production and non-production environments. Engage with various ITS organizations to resolve problems as they arise. Collaborate with System and Solution Architect/Engineering to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the key technological infrastructures that will host the new business functionality. Create documentation including requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, feature description PowerPoint decks, user guides, process flows, wireframes and newsletters. Responsible for product quality, project timeliness, and customer satisfaction; and assist with leading, directing, and reviewing all activities associated with delivering technology products.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).

  • Three years of experience defining and executing technology strategy.

  • Experience must include three years of:

    • Developing and executing software projects using Agile frameworks;

    • Performing project planning and controlling along with task allocation, including status tracking and Management Review Reports;

    • Creating business workflows and case diagrams to depict system interactions and document data mapping requirements;

    • Working with teams to prioritize product backlogs based on business needs and technical constraints;

    • Providing reports to calculate performance using standard Agile KPIs;

    • Working with program and project management teams to create Product Vision, Roadmaps, Release Planning documents, effort estimation, and risk and gap analysis;

    • Tracking the development, QA, and UAT sign-offs on user stories through RTC and daily checkpoint meetings;

    • Reviewing APLC processes, tools, and training standards in recovering current application design, identifying requirements gathering plan, establishing requirements traceability and defining user interface approach, submitting change requests as necessary, and assisting in the impact analysis of submitted change requests while adhering to SOX Audits and Compliance guidelines; and

    • Performing resource management and team management, and providing team leadership and conflict resolution.

  • In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience as stated above.
