Oracle E-Business Suite Applications DBA

Work you'll do

In this role you will provide support to Oracle EBS based financial accounting systems, troubleshoot and resolve testing defects and resolve production issues.
Candidates will configure, design, test, and analyze issues as they arise. They will also support design and development of new capabilities and provide business finance operation and accounting support to the government client team.

Oracle Enterprise Solutions (OES)
Our Oracle Enterprise Solutions practice provides services from ERP and Cloud Strategy, through Business Transformation and Applications Implementation, to Operate and Cloud Release Management. We modernize our client's business and core environments to leverage technology innovations around Cloud, Digital, Mobility and Social Collaboration. We help our clients address digital transformation by designing modern applications and industry specific solutions to deliver outcomes that improve flexibility, scalability and cost management. Oracle ERP products include Oracle Cloud SaaS, EBS, PeopleSoft, and JD Edwards.

Professionals can expect to deliver “heart of the business” projects and work closely with client leaders in finance, logistics, manufacturing, shop floor, scheduling, engineering and design, IT, project management as well as the C-suite including the CEO, CFO, CIO and COO. We assess current business processes and capabilities as part of digital transformation initiatives and support strategic priorities across clients' enterprises.

Qualifications

Requirements:
•5+ years of experience as a hands-on Oracle Applications DBA
•Experience implementing or upgrading as an Oracle EBS Applications DBA release 12.2.x
•Familiar with Oracle EBS Infastructure, Configuration and Deployment options.
•Must have Linux OS experience.
•Competence with managing database and middle tiers including:
oRDBMS, EBS, Java & WLS patching/maintenance
oPerformance monitoring/tuning of Applications and RDBMS
oLog management of EBS, WLS & RDBMS
oSecurity Configuration and management of Oracle products
•Experience with EBS SSO & AccessGate/IDM integration
•Has experience with database upgrade processes
•Familiar with custom schema integration in EBS
•Understanding of password update and management processes for EBS
•Must have above average troubleshooting skills
•Preferred to have experience with DoD system security requirements and Risk Management Framework
•Must have good communication skills both written and oral
•Capable as an individual contributor and team member. Must be able to diagnose, assess, escalate and recommend solutions to issues dealing with EBS technology components

Security Requirements:

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future (No Dual Citizenship)
•Must have or be able to quickly get a Security + or Higher (CISSP) Commercial Certification (Required for elevated privileges)
•Must have or be able to quickly get an Oracle Product Certification (DBA certification preferred) (Required for elevated privileges)
•Preferred already cleared person with Public Trust T3 level clearance minimum

Preferred:

•Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
•Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
•Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
