\n\n\nAre you looking to assist Chief Financial Officers\n(CFOs), Chief Accounting Officers (CAOs), Controllers, and business unit\nfinance leaders to help solve complex financial accounting and reporting issues\nthrough process automation? Our team of process automation specialists do\njust that. As a\nmember of the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team, you will help clients\nachieve automation of manual business processes through the selection of proper\ntechniques and methodologies.

Work you'll do

As part of\nthe Process Automation team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with business process owners and\n experts to identify and document best use cases for RPA and define\n business cases to support automation
  • \n

  • Analyze and decompose business processes and\n design a strategy to automate these processes
  • \n

  • Support and manage all phases of the RPA\n project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment\n of automations of business processes using tools such as UIPath,\n Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or WorkFusion
  • \n

  • Support RPA Developers and Architects with\n development activities and assist with troubleshooting and resolving\n development related issues
  • \n

  • Help ensure project adherence to internal best\n practices and standards for RPA
  • \n

  • Constantly evaluate RPA strategy and approach\n and conduct research on emerging RPA approaches and technologies
  • \n

  • Develop and refine leading practice RPA\n approach and methodology
  • \n

  • Participate in RPA proposal creation and\n evaluations
  • \n

  • Explore and evaluate other emerging and leading\n finance technologies, including close automation, intelligent/cognitive\n automation, and advanced analytics solutions
  • \n



The Team

Deloitte\nAdvisory's Process Automation team helps our clients realize the art of the\npossible by implementing solutions to automate manual processes. We help\ndefine, design, develop, test, and deploy software automation solutions that\nemulate the activities of humans.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business\n Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent\n educational or professional experience and/or qualifications. An advanced\n degree is also preferred.
  • \n

  • 5+ years of experience assessing business\n processes, particularly within Finance/Accounting, as well as creating\n business process documentation (narratives, process flows, etc) using\n tools like Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • \n

  • Up to 80% travel (typically Monday – Thursday)
  • \n

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the\n United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at\n anytime in the future
  • \n

  • Experience working on RPA engagements as a\n process analyst, including leading development of Process Design Documents\n (PDDs)
  • \n

  • Hands on experience with and/or working\n understanding of RPA tools such as UIPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue\n Prism, and WorkFusion
  • \n

  • Experience of large enterprise applications\n (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.)
  • \n

  • Understanding of IT environment infrastructures\n and experience with enterprise wide software implementations
  • \n

  • Experience working with geographically\n distributed and culturally diverse work groups
  • \n

  • CPA,\n CIA, CFA, CA, CCA, CMA, CAIA or FRM certification, or working towards achieving\n one of these certifications.
  • \n

  • Knowledge\n of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and SEC rules and regulations
  • \n

  • Proficiency\n in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
  • \n

  • Demonstrated\n ability to clearly communicate with clients, document requirements, and\n articulate the value proposition and business case for digital finance\n solutions
  • \n
