The Opportunity

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Prepares and produces menu items to standards in a quick and efficient manner.

Prepares items such as but not limited to salads, appetizers, seafood, beef, and poultry, etc.

Prepares, cooks, and seasons all food.

Control food production in all work areas including proper cooking methods, proper cooking times, and temperature.

Adheres to kitchen maintenance and sanitation programs.

Maintains assigned station and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience

Must have previous experience as a line cook.

Must have experience with fry cook, broiler, and garde manger.

Other Qualifications

Must be able to work a very flexible schedule, including days and evenings, weekend and holidays.

Must be able to maintain speed and accuracy in order to ensure maximum efficiency.

Must be able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure and the stress of deadlines.

Must be able to accept responsibility for goods

Must be friendly, energetic, and outgoing.
