This position will be based out of Delaware North's new global headquarters, a state-of-the-art, 12-story, mixed-use building in downtown Buffalo, N.Y. The headquarters facility, reflective of our values, integrates the latest advances in environmental, energy conservation and office design.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Training Manager for Operational Excellence, the Training Coordinator will be responsible to identify training needs and map out training logistic plans for individuals, teams, and the organization based on project or learning needs. Training Coordinators will analyze training progress and will support the operational excellence training team as required.


  • Manage training schedule
  • Maintain records of attendance (LMS and classroom).
  • Prepare manuals, documentation and status reports to contribute to project management and maintain library of training and reference materials on SharePoint.
  • Assist in implementation of actions necessary to ensure effective integration of training requirements, resources, and delivery plans
  • Coordinate/schedule with 3rd party solution provider for unit on-site training visits and to ensure consistency and accuracy of training
  • Coordinate with training team to deliver communications and training related to program updates and new processes
  • Respond to support requests - provide remote support to unit personnel
  • Management of 3rd party solution provider head of training and resources dispatched to DN locations
  • Point of contact for customers and partners regarding training details and training questions


  • High School or GED
  • 3-4 years' experience
  • Proficient in use of PC systems; and MS Office including Word, Excel, Power Point and Access; SharePoint.
  • Previous experience with Saba LMS or other learning management systems
  • Highly organized and able to contribute to project management.
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated and directed; ability to complete work with limited supervision
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
