Job Description
Exciting opportunity to join a team of pharmacy experts as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, the Texas registered pharmacy technician will take in-coming calls from members and providers, providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process. The ideal candidate must maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfers all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.

Required Qualifications
At minimum 4 months experience as a pharmacy technician
Current pharmacy technician registration with the Texas Board of Pharmacy license is required

Preferred Qualifications
Candidate must have the ability to deal with a diverse customer base in a friendly and confident manner (internal and external customers)
Excellent communication skills (oral, written, grammar, listening)
PC Windows experience required Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Call Center Experience

Education
GED or High School Diploma
