This role will support centralized actuarial functions on the 51-100 and Small Group Shared Services team.
Deep dive into financial results to understand drivers, provide observations and insights to initiatives for improvement.
Lead Block rating initiatives and ad-hoc analysis based on changing priorities.
Ensure rating is accurate for the 51-100 segment and is applied consistently between different rating systems. Become Subject Matter Expert in regard to understanding system processes and limitations.
Collaborate with business partners as needed - may include local market actuaries, MEU, underwriting, and finance.
The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, and hold themselves and others accountable for achieving high standards of performance.
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent technical ability
- Exam progression towards ASA/FSA
- Exposure to health care actuarial work
College degree or equivalent experience.
