CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company is hiring for a Clinical Prior Authorization Representative. Are you interested in a work schedule that is Monday – Friday and live within 50 miles of Phoenix, Arizona. An opportunity where you can balance priorities in and outside of work while helping people on their path to better health. As a Clinical Prior Authorization Representative, you will handle inbound calls from medical offices, physicians, and healthcare providers in support of our Prior Authorization Department. In addition, you will be the important first-line of contact with our customers. You will set the tone for how our company provides support services. You will also consult and work with clinical pharmacists on a daily basis. This is a fast-paced position that requires attention to detail and multi-tasking. You will have the opportunity to work on two computer monitors using multiple applications to process prior authorizations for our members. Our Clinical Prior Authorization Representatives continuously evaluate and drive process improvements that positively impact our client experiences and align to the goals and objectives of the organization. We have a comprehensive training program to ensure your success on the team. This includes onsite training of up to 5 weeks. In response to COVID-19, we offer an onsite work environment that is in full compliance with CDC guidelines as well as changing state and local mandates. We offer Work from Home flexibility if you meet standards. Work from Home qualifications include but are not limited to maintaining your own internet with approved speed requirements and a secure workspace free from distractions. Adherence to HIPAA and governmental compliance is required in this role. After training you will have the opportunity to earn a Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate through an apprenticeship program. Option to work from home after 8 weeks of training

Required Qualifications
• 1+ year of Customer Service experience (i.e. call center, retail, customer service environment, hospitality industry, military experience)
• Previous experience working in Windows, Microsoft or similar application

COVID Requirements
CVS Health requires its Colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.

If you are vaccinated, you are required to have received at least one COVID-19 shot prior to your first day of employment and to provide proof of your vaccination status within the first 10 days of your employment. For the two COVID-19 shot regimen, you will be required to provide proof of your second COVID-19 shot within the first 45 days of your employment. In some states and roles, you may be required to provide proof of full vaccination before you can begin to actively work. Failure to provide timely proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status will result in the termination of your employment with CVS Health.

If you are unable to be fully vaccinated due to disability, medical condition, or religious belief, you will be required to apply for a reasonable accommodation within the first 10 days of your employment in order to remain employed with CVS Health. As a part of this process, you will be required to provide information or documentation about the reason you cannot be vaccinated. If your request for an accommodation is not approved, then your employment may be terminated.

Preferred Qualifications
• Six months of high volume call center customer service experience
• Prior Healthcare experience with benefits, insurance, and prescriptions

Education
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
