Job Description
Qualifying candidates may be eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $3,000

Develop, implement, support, and promote health service strategies, tactics, policies, and programs that drive the delivery of quality healthcare to our members. Health service strategies, policies, and programs are comprised of utilization management, quality management, network management, clinical coverage and policies. The position requires advanced clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in order to facilitate appropriate physical, behavioral health, psycho social wrap around services. The care manager will be responsible for, care planning, direct provider collaboration, and effective utilization of available resources in a cost-effective manner. Strong assessment, writing and communication skills are required.

This is a Non Exempt position.

Required Qualifications
Must be willing to travel 50 to 75% in Somerset County NJ and surrounding counties.
2 years experience in behavioral health, social services or appropriate related field equivalent to program focus

Preferred Qualifications
Managed Care experience preferred.
Case management and discharge planning experience preferred.
New Jersey LTSS experience preferred

Education
Bachelor's degree or non licensed master level clinician required, with either degree being in behavioral health or human services (psychology, social work, counseling)
