To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Product Manager opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Specialist, or Product Champion, including demonstrated success defining and launching quality products
  • 8+ years of experience in the electromechanical sensors and controls market; experience in internet of things (IOT), industrial controls, etc., is a plus
  • A technical background, with skill and experience with electronic and electromechanical components and products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with or the willingness to work with team members from around the globe, including Asia and the UK, and the ability to be culturally understanding
  • Flexibility to work earlier, later, or weekend hours on occasion to work with customers and team members in other time zones and around the world
  • The ability to travel up to 30% in the U.S., Europe, and Asia to visit customers and team members
Reporting to the General Manager of the Electronic Components Business Unit, you will be responsible for product planning and marketing for the Sensors & Controls product line. This will include managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and defining the product vision. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, marketing, and support staff to deliver winning products and ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. You will be responsible for market, competitive, and consumer insights analysis, and identification of trends that will lead to product vision, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth of the product line portfolio.
