We are looking for a New Construction Sales Manager who is highly motivated, technically skilled, and customer-focused who want to join a winning team in our Raleigh, NC office. This individual will be responsible for profitable growth and strategic planning to grow the new construction department. They will be responsible for cost evaluations, and ongoing budget planning for developing current and new markets in the surrounding areas and must be able to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced sales environment, and have strong leadership skills. Key responsibilities

  • This position requires a minimum of 40% of time spent in the field training and developing employees to facilitate success
  • Regularly participate in ride-alongs and monitor progress of new and existing sales employees
  • Responsible for driving new construction installs and improving sales conversion rates with builder partners
  • Formulate organic self-generated lead programs and oversee sales territory and distribute leads to sales representatives
  • Interact with all levels of departments and engage in problem solving situations that require conflict resolution
  • Evaluate all appropriate data from various reporting systems to gauge departmental performance and individual Sales Consultant production
  • Work closely with CPI's Insides Sales Department and Sales Managers to improve conversion rates and performance objectives
  • Assist with Payroll issues including, but not limited to No Pays
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly performance reviews with sales team
  • Conduct weekly Sales meetings to communicate current sales policies and procedures, promotions, and overall branch performance
  • Resolve consumer inquires and complaints regarding installations, product quality, sales price, contract, and other relevant issues
  • Meet with key customers and assist sales team with maintaining relationships and closing deals

Field Activity

  • Minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Saturdays as needed
  • Accompany Sales reps on SG/TM appointments, NHOs, WUBs, Business leads
  • Develop and execute a weekend game plan to drive results
  • Primetime hours (Extended day light hours/minimum of 1 night per week)
  • 75% participation at all CPI sponsored Home Shows
  • Availability to team100% of the time (you or selected point person)

Job Requirements/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5 years of successful sales management experience
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to submit criminal background check and drug screen
  • Proof of acceptable driving record
