STAFF PHARMACIST - PER DIEM
TITUSVILLE AREA HOSPITAL
Pharmacy Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm and Saturday/Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm and has a rotating on call schedule.
As a Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
About the Facility: Titusville Area Hospital (TAH) is a not-for-profit, community-based, critical access hospital in Titusville, PA founded in 1900. In October 2015, TAH was acquired by Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, PA to formally unify healthcare across Crawford County. TAH provides inpatient, outpatient, emergency and home care services. Inpatient services include medical, surgical, pediatrics and intensive/coronary care. Outpatient services include same day surgery, diagnostic imaging, clinical laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation, oncology, pain management, sleep lab and various therapeutic support services and home health care nursing and therapies. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS).
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current PA license in good standing
- At least 1 year working as a Pharmacist, will train if no hospital experience
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Ability to work cooperatively with other members of CPS and hospital and pharmacy staff
