Outpatient Pharmacy Technician - Full-Time

Description: As a full-time, nonexempt, Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Outpatient Pharmacy Technician at CMMC, your responsibilities will include customer service with patients at the counter and over the phone, interpreting prescriptions and entering information into the computer, preparing medication, purchasing medication, and restocking shelves.
Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week, on a variable day/evening/weekend schedule.
About the Facility: The Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery organization serving central and western Maine. CMH's acute care facilities include Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, Bridgton Hospital, and Rumford Hospital. Other CMH affiliates provide various outpatient and clinical services and maintain residential care facilities. Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred
- ME Licensure/Registration/Certification requirements
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
