The purpose of this job is to provide timely and accurate monthly accounting and reporting responsibilities under US GAAP and statutory reporting under local GAAP (IFRS) for Poland.
Local polish compliance related to tax, statistical & regulatory matters.
Monthly recurring transactional input in several EMEA entities, including support for the preparation of statutory financial statements.Job Description
Working with purchasing and AP to ensure consistency of accounting and cleaning of balance sheet monthly positions.
Preparation of monthly variance commentary for accounting movements (Balance Sheet and P&L GL and cost centre variance).
Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, as per the Group timetable using Blackline.
Providing support to the annual external audit and quarterly review processes.
Assisting the Internal Audit team with queries.
Assisting Finance Managers with ad-hoc projects.Qualifications
Experience within a similarly sized entity or from an accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of core accounting principles.
Professional Accounting Qualification.
Experience of SAP would be an advantage.
Microsoft Office advanced Excel.
IFRS and other European GAAPs reporting experience.
US GAAP experience would be an advantage.
