Centennial Hills Hospital is a member of The Valley Health System, a network of six acute care hospitals that provide care for patients throughout Southern Nevada and nearby communities.  Located in northwest Las Vegas, the 336-bed hospital offers a wide range of healthcare services including emergency care, surgical services, cardiovascular and neurological care, women's health, maternity and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, and specialty programs in stroke, chest pain, orthopedics, advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine, and outpatient physical therapy.


Job Description:

The Director directs and administers the Environmental Services Program.  Maintains the hospital environment in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition to include all our other buildings/clinics.  Supervises and coordinates the work activities of the Environmental Services personnel.  Achieves department objectives by providing quality environmental services.  The Director will establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments and provide a unified approach to providing patient care.  The Director will also provide overall direction and management of the performance of EVS staff and front line staff.



Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Management experience


Technical Skills:

Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheets and databases.



Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in housekeeping – Healthcare/hospital environment.



Full knowledge of pertinent regulatory agencies and the policies, codes, standards, and regulations for a healthcare environment.



Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) and references required by the facility.
