Come grow with us!  As a proud leader in home health care in Ontario, we are currently seeking energetic and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in the Cobourg area!  As an integral part of the health care team, you will encourage, support and promote independence to clients in home and community care settings by assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of our Personal Support Manager.  

We are hiring for 4 FULL TIME PSW positions; the hours of availability are:

*Please note, that every other weekend is a requirement

This position is eligible for the $3.00 wage enhancement 

Additionally, all recent Personal Support Worker (PSW) Graduates who graduated after April 1, 2020 from a recognized PSW training program or International nurses who become OPSWA members through the International Nurses Grandfathering Program to Personal Support Worker (INGP-PSW) on or after April 1, 2020 and are hired full time may be eligible to receive a $5,000 incentive from Ontario Health if they commit to working at CarePartners for 6 months. The incentive will be paid to eligible PSWs in two instalments: $2,000 two months after they begin their commitment and $3,000 upon the completion of a six-month commitment.


  • Assisting with activities of daily living such as personal care (rise and retire), assistance with household tasks, respite care, medication assist, special functions
  • Promote a safe environment for both the patient and employee by demonstrating proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques and home safety
  • Provide cognitive, social and/or emotional support to the client
  • Prepare nutritious, varied and economical meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan, and use proper food preparation, storage and hygiene practices


  • Progressive wage grid $17.17 to $19.32 per hour

  • Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker Level 2 or 3, Nursing students
