Infrastructure Vulnerability and Risk Management Analyst, Senior
Provide strategic analysis and recommendations in response to strategic planning guidance and Departmental and interagency coordination relative to supporting DoD Mission Assurance (MA) policy and organizational issues. Conduct Defense critical infrastructure research and mission key terrain analysis; develop concept papers, white papers, and brief technical reports. Conduct MA stakeholder requirements analysis and validation, participating in meetings advancing MA program development and implementation. Analyze and prioritize threats and existing or potential vulnerabilities to critical MA infrastructure to better focus DoD risk management protection efforts. Make recommendations on infrastructure dependencies and interdependencies. Develop effective working relationships with mission partners.
10+ years of experience in performing strategic analysis; formulating and drafting strategic guidance resulting in implementable Defense guidance
10+ years of experience in critical infrastructure protection, operational risk management processes and methodologies, resilience issues, and mission decomposition
8+ years of experience working with issues related to national security policy, critical infrastructure protection, or resilience issues at a U.S. Government Department or Agency
Experience in analyzing, writing, and briefing accurate and timely products to senior leaders that distill and convey essential information and sound analysis, anticipating requirements and proactively elevating issues for senior leader attention, making timely recommendations
Experience in managing and supporting Interagency initiatives
Knowledge of risk management and asset vulnerability assessment concepts, techniques, practices, data management, and prioritization
Ability to rapidly prepare high-quality decision support and other written material for senior leaders under tight deadlines that assimilate, analyze, and concisely describe complex strategic risk issues
Experience with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, DHS Protective Security Coordination Division, or other vulnerability assessment provider
Experience in staffing processes and analyzing policies
Experience with engineering and commercial infrastructure network and interdependency analysis
Experience in working in a joint environment, including a mixture of military, civil service, and contractors
Ability to produce analytically based recommendations and decision products for senior leaders that represent client-coordinated equities
