Fleet Operations Strategy and Business Development Leader

Key Role:
​Develop, shape, and drive the strategic direction for Navy Fleet business opportunities. Lead diverse and geographically dispersed teams to achieve a common vision, goal, and objectives. Develop, plan, and execute business development and capture strategies that aligns Booz Allen's capabilities in mission expertise, consulting, digital, analytics, cyber, engineering to critical Navy needs, demands and capability gaps. Apply extensive Navy operational understanding and experience to help define and describe emerging customer requirements, contribute to key themes and messages, solution strategies and target audiences. Leverage existing relationships to help introduce Booz Allen capabilities to a broad set of Navy clients. Collaborate with leadership teams within Booz Allen to establish integrated marketing campaigns to grow market share, build the brand, and achieve business objectives. Assist with leading the team to position for and capture opportunities and lead subsequent resulting tasks. Develop next tier leaders and extend operational Navy understanding to diverse leaders and team members.

Basic Qualifications:

-15+ years of experience as a Naval Officer, including extensive Fleet operations, such as holding key leadership roles in afloat and ashore commands

-Ability to provide deep insight into a Navy fleet and strategic direction in executive leadership positions for fleet organizations

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with agility and adaptability    

-Ability to be a Navy operations subject matter expert on multiple classified DoD programs and projects

-Ability to work as an integral member of a business development and client delivery team

-Ability to engage key client stakeholders to discuss firm capabilities and services on highly classified DoD projects

-Ability to analyze current market needs and identify viable business development opportunities in unclassified to classified DoD projects and programs

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to handle multiple conflicting time and project demands and be pre-disposed to action

-Possession of excellent collaborative, relationship building, and time management skills

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree preferred
