We're looking for a data scientist with the skills to work in a dynamic mission environment, working side-by-side with analysts and developers to solve real-world problems with big data. •Experience with data modeling or data analysis
•Experience in building and applying machine learning models
•Experience applying advanced mathematical and statistical techniques
•Experience with analyzing large datasets and developing analytics
•Experience with data engineering
•Experience developing and deploying data ingestion, processing, and distribution systems in on-premise and/or Cloud environment
•Ability to analyze large data sets and develop automated analytics
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
•Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining on-premise and Cloud based software services
•Experience with JIRA Agile tools, working in an Agile environment, or using Scrum methodologies
•Experience with Scripting, including PowerShell, Python, Scala, Java, and Shell
•Experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform
•Knowledge of one or more of the following: Jira, Git, Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift (OCP), or Docker
•Knowledge of DevOps principles
•Knowledge of Big Data Application - leverage technologies including Hadoop Map Reduce, Hadoop Hive, Hadoop Cluster, designing and building database solutions (tables, stored procedures, queries, etc.), Zeppelin, Spark, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Storm, Scala Software development, SageMaker, EC2, EMR
•Ability to use automation tools and Infrastructure-as-code to manage installations, pipelines, and scripting
•BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical engineering field
