Cloud Software Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and supervise team members. This position requires the ability to report to a designated office location in either Charlottesville, VA, or McLean, VA. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with designing, developing, securing, and optimizing Cloud service access and solutions for cloud tenants

• Experience with supporting product software development, design, and implementation of applications and services using software programming, scripting, or markup languages, including Bash, Ansible, Python, XML, HTML, JSON, or YAML

• Experience with supporting implementation of Cloud tenant solutions

• Experience with engineering solutions in a Linux and Windows multi-tenant environment on commercial Cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure

• Experience installing applications within Platform as a Service (PaaS) Cloud technologies

• Top Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• Ability to obtain DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite, including Jira and Confluence

• Experience with Agile development techniques and ceremonies

• Experience with the US Army, DoD, or intelligence community systems

• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and deliver to project deadlines

• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Mathematics

• AWS Solutions Architect Certification

• DoD Directive 8570 or 8140 Series IAT Level II Certification, including Security+ Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $93,400.00 to $212,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
