Risk Management Framework Specialist

The Challenge:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to system architecture, but you actually know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your skills to secure systems for the nation's most specialized DoD agencies? We're looking for a Cloud Security Analyst who can create solutions that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.

As a lead cloud security analyst at Booz Allen, you'll research, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions to protect our client's most sensitive information in AWS, Azure, and GCP. We need to come up with the best solution, so you'll investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll manage efforts to provide systems security authorization support and oversee information security activities related to the deployment of a cutting-edge enterprise cloud solution. You'll drive security authorization support and maintain authorization to account for any new capabilities deployed to the enterprise cloud. This is a chance to make a difference in the security of our country's elite warfighters. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating security best practices like identity and access management, encryption, and security analytics. You'll be able to broaden your skillset into advanced and emerging areas of cybersecurity like container security to support dynamic and immutable cloud infrastructure. Join our team as we deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions to protect our client's information in the Cloud.

Empower change with us.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of security into infrastructure, platforms, or software
  • 2+ years of experience with container technologies, including Docker or Kubernetes
  • 1+ years of experience as an Information Assurance SME and Cybersecurity Analyst in cloud environments
  • 2+ years of experience with eMASS
  • Experience with implementing controls from NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, ICD 503, RMF, DoD Information Levels, and applying them to the design and implementation of IT solutions to achieve an Authorization to Operate (ATO)
  • Experience with developing security compliant solutions in accordance with DoD IA standards
  • Ability to communicate infrastructure, platforms or software outcomes to leadership
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED required
  • DoD 8570 IAM or IAT Level II

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with cloud native technologies
  • Knowledge of cloud native security tools, including Prisma Cloud, HBSS, and ACAS
  • Knowledge of STIGs and virtual image hardening
  • Knowledge of end-to-end modern agile software development
  • Ability to work within a collaborative team and a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Ability to be a self-motivated, continuous learner with expertise in the cloud
  • BA or BS degree
  • AWS or MS Azure certification
  • CISSP or CCSP certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
