Acquisition Management Professional

The Opportunity: 

As an acquisition management professional, you know that both sides of the acquisition and contracts lifecycle are pivotal to your clients' missions. We're looking for someone like you to be a liaison to the government. Bring your passion to support pre- and post-award federal contracts and improve the processes that defend our nation. 

As a Federal Acquisition Management Professional at Booz Allen, you'll work closely with our defense clients in support of the warfighter, aiding in the acquisition of all they need for optimal end strength and ensuring that their mission is our mission. This is an opportunity to impact our country's defense acquisition and contract process. On our team, you'll draft full RFP packages, including identifying best practices to incorporate into Acquisition and Systems Engineering Lifecycle policies.

You'll complete procurement request packages and be responsible for the safe storage and handling of sensitive documents. You'll provide acquisition expertise regarding all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates impacting each project's success. From creating and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders to obtaining concurrence, you'll deliver meaningful acquisition support. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have: 

  • 5+ years of experience with DoD or DHS Level I, II, or III major and minor acquisition programs
  • 5+ years of experience with developing and implementing SELC processes, activities, and artifacts
  • 4+ years of experience in leadership role
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • 8+ years of experience with DoD or DHS Level I, II, or III major and minor acquisition programs
  • DAWIA, PMP, or INCOSE Certifications

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $69,000 - $144,400 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $73,400 - $176,400 (annualized USD)
