Analyze the development and implementation of logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products in order to enhance product flow. Assist with the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates. Maintain appropriate records and prepare reports. Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers.
-7 years of experience with logistics warehouse procedures and processes
-Experience with inspecting all materials upon receipt for damage, materiel safety, and product shelf life and managing government-furnished warehouse space
-Ability to provide supply support for receiving, inspecting, labeling, issuing, and temporary storage of equipment and property
-Secret clearance required
-AA or AS degree and 7 years of experience with logistics or BA or BS degree
-Experience in working with officers and non-commissioned officers at the Army brigade level or higher
-Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Forklift Operator Certification
