Program Control Analyst Mid
Perform a wide variety of detailed financial and administrative activities for relatively large and complex programs, organizations, and proposals. Participate in budget preparation and authorize budget expenditures. Recommend procedures to be used to monitor programs, organizations, and proposals. Interpret and implement cost proposal estimating, pricing, and documentation requirements. Define parameters for estimate preparation. Provide work leadership for junior employees.
-3+ years of experience with budget development and financial forecasting, analysis, tracking, and reporting
-Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel
-Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas and functions in calculations and analysis
-Experience in working with federal government contracts
-Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Joint Travel Regulations, the federal budget process, and funds management
-Ability to think analytically and conduct trend analyses
-Ability to accomplish financial forecasts based on bottoms-up analysis and historical trends
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree or 7+ years of experience with budget development and financial forecasting, analysis, tracking, and reporting in lieu of a degree
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Secret clearance preferred
-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager, or Certified Government Financial Manager
-BA or BS degree in Finance or Business, or Economics preferred
