Irregular Warfare/Information Operations Analyst

Key Role:

Provide subject matter expertise in information operations and military information support operations to future force and policy analysis development efforts. Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex defense and government systems, policies, and processes related to irregular warfare, foreign threats, and homeland defense. Determine procedure for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Perform and direct scientific and technical analysis, assessments, and evaluations. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results. Provide work leadership for junior employees, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with military information support operations

-Experience with the DoD and the Joint Force

-Experience working with general and flag officers

-Experience creating and managing a project plan, schedules, people, and budgets

-Knowledge of the DoD, including the Joint Force Development and Design process, including Joint doctrine, training, education, and concept development

-Knowledge of Irregular Warfare doctrine, operations, and activities

-Knowledge of the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Military Services, Combatant Commands, and DoD strategy and policy development process

-Ability to write reports, memoranda, and other information products for senior military leadership and government leaders

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications

-Knowledge of the roles and missions of the State Department, the intelligence community, and law enforcement agencies

-Active TS/SCI clearance preferred

-MA or MS degree
