Defense Analyst, Senior
Identify, analyze, and evaluate complex or highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, or instrumentation related to foreign threats or homeland security. Determine a procedure for solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems. Perform or direct scientific and technical intelligence analysis. Report changes, trends, and implications regarding design and integration of evolving systems and instrumentation. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results. Provide work leadership to junior employees, as needed.
-3+ years of experience with Major Command (MAJCOM)-level staff or higher
-Experience as a fighter or bomber aircrew member
-Experience with the organization, training and equipping of aviation units
-Experience with writing and reviewing Joint, AF, and MAJCOM documents
-Ability to work independently and on tight time constraints
-BA or BS degree
-Experience as instructor or evaluator in any fighter or bomber mission design series (MDS)
-Experience with JCIDS processes
-Experience with the DoD Program Objective Memorandum process
-Knowledge of Air Force budgeting process
-TS/SCI clearance preferred
-MA or MS degree preferred
