Commercial Solutions for Classified Networks Engineer, Mid
Leverage expertise in network engineering to design, configure, test, and deploy network solutions in DoD environments. Install and validate LAN and WAN solutions in accordance with networking best practices. Implement firewall solutions, set up and evaluate the utility of VPN products, design network architectures in accordance with applicable DoD security requirements, and document the network with the appropriate technical diagrams and artifacts. Leverage expertise in the implementation of layer 3 routing protocols and layer 2 switching. Work on implementing a national agency's commercial solutions for classified (CSfC) capability packages (CP).
-Experience with Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls, including ASA, ISR, and Catalyst platforms
-Experience with configuring and troubleshooting SSL and IPSec VPNs
-Experience in analyzing network traffic with Wireshark or TCPDump
-Knowledge of routing protocols, including RIP, EIGRP, MPLS, BGP, and OSPF
-Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 Certificates and Certificate authorities
-Knowledge of VLAN design schemes for network separation
-Ability to depict network diagrams accurately using Microsoft Visio
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-CCNA or JNCIA Certification
-Experience with working in classified spaces to implement network solutions
-Experience with implementing certificate-based encryption on network devices
-Experience with configuring and deploying type1 encryption devices
-Experience with supporting CSfC solutions
-Knowledge of CSfC capability packages
-Ability to initiate, manage, execute, and report tasks independently
-Ability to communicate complex network principles and designs to clients
