US Agriculture Market Insights Manager (2001292) – Research Triangle Park, NC
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are looking for a Market Insights Manager to analyze the US agriculture market, business and industry knowledge, will be responsible for the development, implementation and execution of the Market Insights and research strategy to support the business growth. This position is focused on developing and implementing the market insights and research plan, in co-operation with the US Leadership Team, Marketing Team, Seeds Team, Sales and Account Managers.
As part of the regional business excellence team, the position will lead and establish a regional center of excellence for all market research project design and execution. This includes vendor management across approved third-party vendors; responsible for completing syndicated, customized, market development and customer development research, as well as pricing elasticity studies, within an assigned regional budget. In addition, this position works in cooperation with the Regional Market Intelligence team members by providing input and leading projects to establish a regional view of the market.
Formula for Success
- Bachelor's Degree
- MBA or Masters in related field is a plus
- 8+ years' experience in the agriculture market (Crop protection and Seed experience is preferable)
- 5+ years' experience in market research design
- Extensive experience managing market research projects, vendors and associated expense budgets
- Demonstrated ability to lead large and complex projects across a large organization with multiple businesses
- Proven ability and experience influencing Senior Management, as well as large organizational teams
- Proven ability to interact across several cross functional units
