Job Description:The BH Floyd Knowledge Program has helped numerous individuals reach their career goal of working in the Radiology/ Diagnostic Imaging field. The Knowledge Program is open to both current employees and external candidates. The program provides tuition funds in the form of loan forgiveness to students in an accredited program in an exchange to work for Baptist Health Floyd upon graduation. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
The Knowledge Program requires individuals to:
Be a student pursuing a first-time Radiology degree (can't already hold a license).
Be accepted and enrolled in an accredited AART program.
Hold a consistent GPA of 3.0
Have good references from school instructors or employers.
Knowledge Program participants generally receive installments of loan forgiveness monies as the student progress through their Radiology program and maintains an acceptable GPA. Funds from the Knowledge Program are generally for tuition but may be used for expenses at the recipient's personal discretion.
Participants in the program must agree to work for Baptist upon graduation from their nursing program. For every $2,500 in Knowledge Dollars the graduate will be required to work 6 months full-time to forgive the loan.
The Human Resources team diligently works to place the graduate into his or her nursing area of choice; however, there are no guarantees of a specific job location. Many Knowledge Program participants start employment in Telemetry and later use the transfer program to begin a specific career path.
All candidates interested must apply and attach an official school transcript and two letters of reference.
Final candidates interview with a panel of Baptist Directors and Managers.
