Theylead the installation, maintenance and start-up of a wide range of equipment.Baker Hughes Field Service Engineers before acting as a technical competentperson has to be a role model in embracing Baker Hughes cultural pillars of HSE(Health, Safety, Environmental), Quality and Integrity, and promoting themevery day and every time.

EssentialResponsibilities:

As a FieldEngineer you will represent BH both technically and professionally to ensurethe
equipment to be installed, maintained and started-up properly. Your keyresponsibilities will include

  • Providing on-sitetechnical direction to skilled manpower during Centrifugal Compressors,Maintenance and Commissioning activities on Customer Sites, even in remoteareas.

  • Leading Installation,Maintenance, Commissioning Site Activities with proper Customer/CompanySchedule Targets Mindset following strictly Quality and HSE Rules

  • Utilizing ProblemSolving Skills, Engineering Instructions, Drawings, and Process Instructionsduring Centrifugal Compressors Commissioning and Start-up Activities.

  • Possessing theTechnical Capability to troubleshoot and execute routine maintenance checkoutfor Centrifugal Compressors and auxiliaries.

  • Preparation ofjob-planning documents based to Assignment's Scope of Work (Installation,Upgrade, Outage).

  • Communicatingeffectively with Service / Installation / Project Managers and SiteLeaders/Site manager on job planning and execution and with Resource Directorsregarding site arrivals, departures and job progression.

  • Providing input forDaily Outage and Weekly Installation Reports.

  • Preparing timely andaccurate technical reports for Customer records and as Reference for futureOutages.

  • Actively participateto customer and/or contractor meeting and be promoter on their recurrence andfollowing action plan.

  • Have knowledge of allHSE/Quality procedures and documentation applicable to specific activities andensure they are properly followed and updated:

  • Ensure that Red FlagReview process for New Units Installation is followed and applied;

  • Ensure Site QualityCheck List/Job Cards/Field Procedure are followed and properly signed;

  • Ensure reports and drawings “marked-up” are completed;
  • Ensure all RCA andLesson Learned are addressed properly;

  • Ensure allNon-Conformity cases (technical and materials) are properly addressed usingBaker Hughes e-tools and follow up till resolution.

  • Ensure compliance withlocal/current legislation, requests & requirements present in the siteSafety Manual.

  • Willing to activelyparticipate in NPI (New Product Introduction) training to acquire multi-skillexpertise

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • EU Work Permit.
  • Engineering Degree orHigh School Technical Diploma or equivalent knowledge or work experience

  • Significant workexperience, preferably in the energy or Oil & Gas industry.

  • Strong knowledge onCentrifugal Compressors installation/maintenance philosophy

  • Fluent both in Italian and English.
  • Strong customer service-orientation,and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to workefficiently without direct supervision.

  • Health, Safety and Environmental mindset and compliance.

This rolerequires extensive travel. Applicants must be willing and able to travelsignificantly (not less than 70%) without geographical restriction includingoffshore.

DesiredCharacteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Good in Italian language
