Role Summary

The Cyber Intelligence Manager will be focused on the collection of timely and accurate Intel from a diverse range of information sources. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise with the latest technologies, procedures and processes for acquiring intelligence and have practical experience processing, analyzing and disseminating information. The Analyst must be able to think on their feet and deal with a wide range of intelligence correlation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor a wide array of diverse information sources – ranging from open-source to classified materials – for potential threats to Baker Hughes personnel, infrastructure and operations
  • Focus on the protection of information systems assets, corporate information and intellectual property assets in order to prevent the intentional or inadvertent access, modification, disclosure, or destruction of those assets
  • Analyze geopolitical issues to determine their impact to Baker Hughes operational footprint
  • Research relevant intelligence feeds and contextualize findings to Baker Hughes specific business risks
  • Facilitate and perform integrated internal reporting and communication rhythms in partnership with IT Risk teams and Corporate and Business Communications
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of IT disaster recovery plans for critical systems, liaise with crisis management, physical security, disaster recovery and other functions to ensure information security has the appropriate level of visibility to support the business continuity plans
  • Work independently when necessary and be self-directed when appropriate
  • Provide expertise and counsel to management, other organizations and special projects personnel
  • Collaborate with management in developing risk mitigation techniques, setting objectives and setting realistic and challenging goals
  • Mentor fellow employees on the intel cycle, analytical writing, and quantitative thinking

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math
  • 15+ years of cyber security experience
  • 2+ years of experience leading people

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience developing cyber-intelligence briefings, specifically for diverse senior management & officials
  • Awareness of the latest intelligence collection trends and developments
  • Strong, proven analytical & evaluative thinking skills
  • Excellent consulting skills and superior client handling skills
  • Strong, proven oral and written communications skills
  • Master's Degree in an intelligence or information technology field, or 5+ years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis
  • Security clearance
